Billy’s Brisbane Lions Academy AFL Pathway

Hi there

I am excited and humbled to have been invited to participate in the AFL Brisbane Lions Academy in 2023.

For those in the know, I LOVE my footy and my career has been full of highlights demonstrating that, with your support, I can continue on my charge towards playing in the AFL.

I debuted in 2021 for the U12 Launceston Blues. We won the grand final and I picked up the ‘Best on Ground’, and on top of that I was awarded ‘Best in Division’ for the whole comp and with most goals.

After our move to Queensland, I played for the U14 Gympie Cats (merged with the Pomona/Cooroy Demons). Even though our home club was totally devastated (twice) by the flooding Mary River we managed to make the finals. I was awarded ‘Runner-Up Best & Fairest’ for the merged teams.

Being no age group in Gympie in 2023 it is now the year of the Hervey Bay Bombers and I’m already smashing my stats with several ‘Man of the Match’ awards. My early season efforts were enough to get selected to represent the Wide Bay in the QLD state championships.

Now, with this amazing opportunity to enter the AFL system I am seeking Sponsorship.

With travel for weekly club footy averaging over 600km per week and all other expenses included it’s definitely time for my journey towards the AFL to request sponsorship.

I have developed a detailed budget and am participating in the management aspects of this journey and am now seeking your support.

I love my footy, I am loving this experience and I reckon I can go all the way.
