Billy’s continuing fight against Hodgkin’s

Hey everyone, if you don’t already know I am Billy DeGroot’s daughter. As some of you may or may not already know my father has been battling stage 4 Hodgkin lymphoma since December 2022.

He completed his first and what we thought to be his last chemotherapy treatment in June 2023. Unfortunately the cancer has risen back, this time attacking his bones. Not only does this mean more chemotherapy but it requires more intensive and invasive treatments. These treatments are going to end up requiring my father to temporarily stay in the same city as his cancer hospital ( which is four hours away from his home) for a minimum of three more months.

I know that I can speak on my entire family as whole, and say that we are so extremely grateful to everyone who has already donated, continuously prayed, and given any type of assistance. And it burdens our hearts to have to reach back out to the community for financial assistance, but we know the power of love and understanding. And with that we gratefully thank you all again for the continuous support and contributions.
