Billy's Stage IV Colon Cancer Diagnosis

Hello, my name is Billy Waite and I am fundraising monies towards aiding in the costs and associated costs of being diagnosed with Stage IV Colon Cancer. I have been fighting the good fight since February 2021 with multiple cycles of Chemotherapy treatments to mitigate or eliminate the lesions that have metastasized to my Liver, Lungs, and Bladder from the Sigmoid Colon. It is only recently (December 2022) that I have been unable to continue working and have recently placed myself on Hospice Care to manage the symptoms/pain involved with my condition. Due to this recent change, health insurance coverage through my employer will increase to 4x the amount that I currently contribute for as long as I can survive or am unable to pay.

Additionally, I would also to fundraise for my local Oncology department for emergency supplies for those patients who become recently diagnosed and may need some starter tangibles that may be in short supply at the local hospital or medical supply unit.

The funds would be used to aid me in meeting associated costs/billing due to no longer being able to work as well as use some of the funds to raise potentially more funds/awareness through purchases of sports apparel or gear for those interested in supporting in that manner. As well as recognizing some of the outstanding oncology department staff, doctors, and emergency personnel to let them know how appreciative the afflicted are that they are there helping us along the journey of the prognosis.
