Binky Brown's Funeral Pyre

Binky Brown's Funeral Pyre is a comprehensive exhibition in honor of comix legend Justin Green. This exhibit features his comics, signs, sketchbooks, paintings, sculpture and original art, including Binky Brown Meets the Holy Virgin Mary. Designed to be an immersive experience, this exhibit includes his drawing space, sign shop, personal shrines and many other surprises.

One common thread from everyone who knew Justin is how generous he was, whether it be showing a student how to wield the mahlstick properly, giving the homeless some tacos, or simply listening to a friend who was having a time of it. His intentions were always in the right place he saw the best in people. It has been comforting to hear the overwhelming outpouring of memories and examples of how Justin gave his life to others.

Now, we, his family, humbly ask for the favor returned. The show is quite an undertaking. As it was requested, Justin wanted this as his memorial instead of a funeral. We are following his wish by honoring his memory as best as we can. The cost of materials, presentation, insurance and other expenses have added up. With every bit of help, we can ensure that his vision is executed exactly how Justin wanted it. All contributions are greatly appreciated.
