Bird Brown Memorial Fund

  The entire soccer & lacrosse  communities  have been rocked by the sudden passing of our our coach, teacher, friend, mentor, father, brother, uncle, and husband Robert “Bird” Brown. 

  As we all work to process the loss of this tremendous man our first thoughts must be focused on his beautiful  wife Anne and his wonderful sons Mike, Ryan, and Matt. 

  As they struggle to deal with the loss of their devoted father and husband I’m hopeful that our local soccer and lacrosse communities will show the family how much Bird meant to all of us over his many years of dedication to our children. 

  Please make a donation, big or small. Anne and the boys have requested that all funds raised through this page be used to establish a scholarship at Westminster High School that will benefit the boys and girls soccer programs.   

  Bird gave so much to all of us and never asked for anything in return. Let’s honor his memory and support his grieving family as they mourn his loss. 

  I spoke with Anne last night and told her when the time is right and she is ready that we will help her in any way we can to begin setting up the scholarship and get the donations placed in that fund.

  She was blown away by the massive show of support from the community so please continue to share this page with anyone you know so Bird’s legacy will live on for years to come. 

  My wife and I have been friends with Bird for many years and he coached my son on both his high school team and his Baltimore Celtic club team.
