Birdies for Breast Cancer Challenge
Want to join me in making a difference?
I'm raising money to benefit National Breast
Cancer Foundation
My mum, Lynda Norris, is my inspiration and
the reason behind this fundraising event
which will be taking place at The Cut Golf
Course, Dawesville, West Australia on Sunday 5th July 2020.
She was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in
December last year, and has been undergoing chemotherapy and targeted treatments over
the last few months. She also had extensive
surgery on her neck to remove cancerous
tumours In her cervical spine, soon after her
diagnosis. Despite all this, her positivity and
sense of humour shines through.
She’s so fortunate to be benefitting from
drugs which have revolutionised the
treatment protocol for her type of cancer
and we’re extremely grateful to the medical
team who have been involved in her care and
support these last few months.
I want to raise as much money as I can . I can’t
think of a better way of using my love of golf
to raise awareness and give something
back and I’m very grateful to the amazing
West Australian golfers who are giving up
their time to help me to do this.
On the day I’ll be joined by US LPGA Major
winner, Hannah Green, professionals
Jarryd Felton and Braden Becker and WA’s
top male amateurs Hayden Hopewell and
Haydn Barron.
Get behind us as we test our skills to raise
money for Breast Cancer by challenging
ourselves to shoot a team score of 27 under
over 18 holes.
Please show your support and donate !!!!
More information about National Breast
Cancer Foundation: Our mission is simple:
stop deaths from breast cancer. We know that targeted breast cancer research gets results.
Since our inception in 1994, NBCF has
awarded more than $173 million to fund 538 Australian-based research projects. With no
government funding, this money has been
raised entirely by the Australian public. As we strive towards zero deaths from breast cancer by 2030, your donations are the difference.
