Birdies x Coach K supports Junior Girls Golf

Hi, my name is Courtney Campbell and I am the Head Golf Professional at Gleneagles Golf Course and the founder of Birdies, Babes & Beats women's golf programs helping to inspire women to play golf.

This year with I wanted to support the growth of Junior Girls Golf so I decided to pair forces with my best friend Keri Moffat , who is the Director of Instruction and Assistant Coach of UBC Women's golf team. Keri coaches and instructs an amazing program for junior girls' golf so with the support of the women from Birdies and her clients we have come together to give girls access to golf, and be taught by women!

Starting this 2023' season, our women's Birdies Night event participants and students will be invited bi-weekly to play golf with Courtney as a way to learn the game and connect with other women in the community. Each round played, I will be looking after the green-fee for the day of play but in return, I am asking you to please donate the equivalent of the green-fee to supporting a young girl with the possibility to equipment her with new golf clubs, shirts and a series of lessons to learn to play golf.

The junior girl will be selected from the Lower Mainland and in partnership with Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Greater Vancouver as a way for a mentee and a match to explore the wonderful game that golf can give.

I can't wait to see how this program will evolve and to start a young girl on her journey in this beautiful sport!
