Birds and Bats

We at Sidekick Productions are excited to announce our new musical: Birds and Bats! We currently need to raise money to book a space for the show and for the rehearsals (and if we have any extra money for sets and costumes)! The production will happen June 18-20th 2019! Plot Synopsis:

This show is all about Bruce Wayne’s (AKA Batman) family and what happens when all of a sudden he disappears. The family tries to cope with the sudden disappearance of Bruce as well as figure out what to do with Bruce’s newly discovered son, Damian Al Ghul. The Robins of the past (Dick Grayson, Jason Todd, and Timothy Drake) train Damian while Batgirl (Barbara Gordon) trains newcomer Spoiler (Stephanie Brown). Things go from bad to worse when a new villain (Reflection) steps onto the scene vowing to kill anyone who has ever escaped death. As the show continues the question over everyone’s head seems to be, what keeps a found family together when everything seems to be falling apart?


Characters and inspiration are from Detective Comics, Grant Morrison’s Batman and Robin, and Battle for the Cowl.
