We have begun our project in our new home 1320 Hampton Ave in Greenville, SC.

We are rasing funds for foudres and tasting room items as we buildout our barn house inspired atmosphere.

History:

Thanks for visiting! We are a 20 year US Coast Guard family in the process of setting ourselves up for life after the service.  We have begun starting up our dream of opening a brewery BIRDS FLY SOUTH ALE PROJECT focusing on Farmhouse Belgian style ales.  With an extensive Sour program.

I have worked in the brewing industry for awhile now, and as a Project Manager for the US Coast Guard. I have been brewing for 7 years with half of it as a professional.

Birds Fly South will be focused on wild ales, utilizing 100% wood fermentation for some of our offerings, and
open  fermentation for all. 


We have already begun aging our sours, 3 different recipes that will be blended and aged or dry hoppped all in an explorative effort to bring authentic farmhouse flavors.

All of our beers will utilize multi-yeasts and multiple fermentation profiles.
