Birmingham UCU strike hardship fund
Donation protected
Birmingham UCU members are striking for fair pay and pensions; sensible workloads; an end to widespread casualisation and insecure employment; and to close the substantial gender and ethnicity gaps in higher education.
We are fundraising in order to be able to alleviate the financial hardship our members, many of whom are employed on insecure and hourly paid contracts, will experience as a result of taking strike action.
Your generosity will allow our less well-off members to take part in the strike, increasing the effectiveness of our action and increasing the likelihood of a positive negotiated outcome over pay, pensions and working conditions.
