Birth during war in Ukraine

Please help us provide an "Emergency Skills Workshop" for 20 midwives and gynecologists from the frontline territories of Ukraine so they can provide professional support to birthing women outside of hospitals when needed - in bomb shelters, basements or any other place.
For the last half a year, many maternity hospitals, other medical institutions and the normal pace of life in Ukraine have been ruined daily by Russian rockets. Nevertheless, women should be getting professional support during pregnancy and childbirth in any setting - in the shelter, basement, home or anywhere else. Therefore, birth professionals - midwives and obstetricians should be ready for this and have their skills and knowledge updated regularly to assist in childbirth under any circumstances.
On 22-26 September, we will hold 2nd "Emergency Skills Workshop" in Lviv, Ukraine, for midwives and gynecologists from frontline cities of Ukraine, taught by Canadian midwife Betty-Anne Daviss pro bono.
The first "Emergency Skills Workshop" by Betty-Anne that will happen on September 20-23 has already gathered 30 professionals , but the demand is much bigger. Teams from maternity hospitals from the frontline Ukrainian cities continue to apply. And we decided to offer such an opportunity to more midwives and gynecologists.
We are fundraising 4000 EUR to cover accommodation, food and transportation for 20 childbirth professionals who work in the maternity hospitals in the cities daily targeted by Russian rockets.
200 EUR will cover accommodation, food, materials and transportation for one participant and help a professional supporting birth in war circumstances be more skilled and confident in his\her work.
