Birthday Breast Reduction For Becca!

Hey everyone!

My name is Becca! Today is my 26th birthday and I have been debating for a month about this go fund me.

Little back story for ya… earlier this year in march, I finally took the steps to get a breast reduction. I had my consultation, I spoke to doctors, went to a chiropractor and a pain management specialist to make sure I got the go ahead. I am currently a 40 DDD, a professional dancer and choreographer and suffer from incredible back pain consistently. I was so excited that I finally took the plunge and set up my appointment for December 15th 2021. Around a month or so ago, I got a call that my insurance deemed my surgery medically Unnecessary and would not be helping with my surgery. This is after going to 3 different doctors, 2 chiropractors (one who exploited me for money) and countless phone calls. My doctors were incredible they called me everyday twice a day to figure out any other option for me so that I could get the surgery on December 15th. But unfortunately I just couldn’t afford the out of pocket payment, I needed $4,500 in 3 days or the surgery would be cancelled. I took the plunge this year because it was the last year I could have my family’s insurance and we all know once you turn 26, you’re actually an adult and need your own insurance. I haven’t gotten that far yet but I thought I could start off my birthday with some help. I’m not really the one to ask for help but I have wanted to have my breasts removed since I was about 11 or 12. They cause me so much pain discomfort and mental health issues that I’m at a roadblock.

As mentioned I don’t usually ask for help, I’m the kind of person that’s “if you want it you work for it” but with covid and my dance jobs In the gutter I really do need help so why not try on my birthday. The $4,500 is strictly for the surgery out of pocket with no insurance. I would love to keep my doctors because they have already helped me so much and trust them with my case.

If there is anything you can donate it would be incredibly appreciated. I know it’s asking a lot of someone so don’t feel pressured to do so.
