Fundrising for son Ice Hockey Camps and Dreams

As Anthony has been picked for team B with possibly of representation of the National Team, we have decided to keep this fundraiser open.

We also need to buy new pads , helmet and sticks. He has now moved to Nottingham Lions and shots he is facing are very hard. Your donation will also help part pay for his plane ticket to a festival hockey camp that's required , if we are serious about going to Canada in 2024, and it's hosted in Poland in December 27 -2 January.

This last week seen us traveling up to donnington park service station to pick up Anthony's new body chest armour, new set of sticks and new hockey bag. His old armour was almost 7 years old, and no longer under any warranty. He also is almost 165 cm 5"2 I think!) So his junior large armor, was no longer fit for purpose. Unfortunately this has added to expenses. We are currently on a hunt for new set of ice hockey goalie pads in size 32+1, that don't cost 500+£.

He also did not wanted to tell us but his old good hockey stick was so worn out, it had to be replaced. Luckily that was only 30£ per stick (RRP- 155£ each) .

As you can see from the breakdown it is quite an expensive sport ;-). We also managed to find a football camp at the end of August for Anna for 70£, it would be free, but sadly we do not qualify for any of government benefits.

Your help is still appreciated and needed, and we are thankful for any donation small or big!

****UPDATE NO 1*** Because of people's generosity, we have raised the target to 250. IF we succeed, it will be enough for ANNA football camp (one week at St Leon's Academy MK) and Anthony camp in Czech, plus about 1/2 of the Polish camp.

Hi, my name is Lukas,

Each year, for my birthday I would normally raise money for a local charity, last year we helped food bank MK, this year however we need YOUR help.

Due to an unforeseen house move (the old house had mould and dump and was unhabitable), I have depleted family savings. Those who know me, will also know, that my birthday falls in July, exactly when my son, has his first ice hockey camp. So instead of a present for my birthday, could I ask all of you to donate here? I will be perfectly fine without that lovely bottle of JD, that chocolate or the card. Any money raised will be used to part-found Anthony's camp in the Czech Republic, and if the target is reached, the surplus will be used for Anna's dream football camp in Poland.

The total cost of camp, not including travelling (we are driving as flying through Europe with Netminder gear is just too expensive) is in the range of 1000£, so like you see anything does help.
