Bit Bar needs your help! The pandemic has been tough for all of us, but with summer coming, and vaccinations accelerating, the light at the end of this long dark tunnel is getting brighter. We also have some great news: Bit Bar is thrilled to announce that we are moving to a larger and more spectacular space, at 278 Derby Street, formerly the Salem Beer Works!
This is obviously not the best time to make such a move but we couldn’t let this opportunity pass us by. To make this huge move possible, we are asking for your help (and offering some stellar awards in return) so we can succeed and remain a part of the fabric of Salem for years to come. We will be using your generous contributions to offset the costs of additional furniture, interior work, and of course, MORE GAMES!
Among our exciting new amenities, our new location will feature a 30 person private events space, more pinball tables, Skee-ball, air hockey, and if the permitting gods smile upon us (and the funds don’t run out), the North Shore’s very first KTV-style private karaoke rooms!

Why are you moving?
The Old Salem Jail has been a wonderful home for us over the past 5 years and we will always remember our time here fondly. However, with our lease coming up in July, we decided to look around for a bigger and better location. Our new space is over 3x larger than our current location, and will allow us to offer a host of amenities and activities that we just didn’t have the space for at the Jail.
Ok, but why are you moving in the middle of a pandemic?
In a perfect world, perfect opportunities arrive at the perfect time. However, In the real world, opportunities show up when they want, and you have just got to seize them when they do (and ask for a little help from your friends.)
Who did the amazing music in the video?
The video featured two tracks from the Bad Larrys, "Take Care" and "Rollerskate" off of their album Perfect Trim .
