Bita Runs Tokyo Marathon 2025- Raising $$ Japan for UNHCR

I am so excited to be running for a cause next year at the Tokyo Marathon 2025! I have chosen to partner up with Japan for UNHCR to raise funds for refugee children and youth to build a future through sports.

I have been fortunate enough to run amongst the most incredible communities in NYC, LA, Toronto, & beyond over the last few years. I know how much of a positive impact the running community has made on me and how many incredible friendships and gifts it has given me in this life. So, I was naturally drawn to this organization and its amazing efforts in Japan & elsewhere- as I want to gift the experience of sports communities to as many people as possible through the efforts of this organization!

More than 117.3 million people in the world are now forcibly displaced from their homes. Approximately 37.6 million people have crossed borders to become refugees, nearly half of whom are children under the age of 18.

I am honored to run for this cause, and appreciate each and every donation as I prepare to take on 26.2 miles of Tokyo!

I will be fundraising up until the marathon in March 2025!
