Hi folks! I'm looking for donations so I get get a newer car then what I have, so I can use it for a job.
I'm currently unemployed after some back trouble which I was being treated for until the worker's comp insurance denied the claim. Now I'm left unable to do most basic jobs that require standing for more then an hour or so, and forget bending and lifting...
but, I've been accepted as a driver with Uber, something I can do comfortably. However, I can't use my current car - a 1998 pontiac sunfire - for it. I've got arrangements to get a replacement car that is viable (a nice toyota camry), but I need 1000 down payment. I'll be trading in my sunfire which should get me 300 to 400, so i'm asking for 700 to cover the rest.
note for those unfamiliar: Uber is basically like a taxi service, but uses an app on your phone to arrange rides and manage the drivers, who use their own cars.
