Remembering Ezekiel

On Thursday, January 30th, 2025, Ezekiel Daniel Baptista went to be with the Lord at just 14 months old. Ezekiel was all the love of his whole family in one little soul—an ever-cheerful baby who brought great joy to his parents, Kristin and David, and to his siblings, Elijah, Evie, and Ezra.

Anchored by their unwavering faith in Jesus Christ as their Rock and Comforter, Kristin and David look to Him for grace, mercy, and strength in this time of profound grief. The Book of Ezekiel reminds us that God is faithful to restore what His people have lost (Ezekiel 37:12–14). We take comfort in knowing that baby Ezekiel is in heaven with the Lord today, and that he will be reunited with his family when the Lord takes them into glory.

No family is prepared to lose a child, and the costs of this kind of tragedy can be overwhelming. At this time, we would like to ask the friends, family, and loved ones of the Baptistas to make a contribution to help with the costs associated with laying Ezekiel to rest. The funds you provide will go toward the viewing, funeral service arrangements, and other related costs, which will help to ease the financial burden of the family and show them the love of our community.
