Hi, my name is Debbie Reynolds, thats me in the photo above; A few years ago I bought this beautiful little spotty pony called Magic (Broomells Sea Madrigal) in France, and it turned out that he has an amazing British Spotty Pony blood line! He’s the kindest, most gentle boy and was so so loved! He lived with us for several years and sired a couple of wonderful spotty foals, one of which we still own, his super breeding was wasted with us and there are not many spotty ponies around, so I sold him in good faith to a stud in Holland, I understood he would be there indefinately but it seems not. Eventually the stud owner sold him to a friend but he passed away and he was sold on again. It seems that he has sustained an injury that prevents him from breeding and so he was cruelly sold to the meat industry. After a very long and tortuous journey across Europe to Poland this poor boy is now in a terrible state in a holding facility awaiting his fate at the abbatoir, we were all beyond devastated when we found out.

I was alerted to the situation by a wonderful Polish/American lady who gathered the details from his passport, and she has secured the help from an official rescue organisation that has got the meat man to agree to sell him to them.

We’re trying to do everything to help him but we need the funds to buy him from the meat man, transport him to a vet clinic, pay the vet, then get him some love, care and rehabilitation locally until he can travel. If all goes well I want him back home with me in France and reunited with his son where he can live out his life with love, care and security.

Any help would be massively appreciated, we just want to get him back home where he belongs.
