Funeral Service for Our Mum

Update: We are in awe of the support we’ve already received and are feeling so much love. As this has left my little sister struggling to find somewhere to live now, any excess after funeral expenses will go towards Jenni in her journey of finding a new place to live and call home ❤️❤️❤️

I’m Hayley, the eldest daughter of Nicole and myself, my younger sister Jenni and my little brother Alex are wanting to fund a funeral service to give our mother a warm and loving farewell.

It breaks our hearts to share this but we suddenly lost our 48 year old mother to suicide in early March which has left us absolutely devastated and scrambling. Our mother was the strongest warrior any of us had ever met, her unyielding spirit and optimism despite all odds made her an incredible and unforgettable woman .

She has sadly left us unable to cover funeral expenses and we aren’t in the financial position to support this ourselves. We’ve looked into having a state-funded cremation, but unfortunately this application process can only begin once the coronial investigation has closed, adding several more weeks onto an already difficult grieving time. We wish to give her a service that celebrates the love and joy she brought into our lives, highlighting cherished moments that we each shared with her. This would immensely help with our grieving process so that we may start to feel some closure.

There will be an open invitation to all friends and family for this service as we’d love to share our memories and love that we hold for our Mum with you.
