BK Klev’s Empowering First Responders in Times of Need

Donation protected

When I talk about humanizing the badge, this is what I mean. First responders, including myself, push aside personal tragedy for the good of others. 24-hour shifts away from family, loved ones, personal property, businesses and the overall feeling of security, are all put on hold as we focus on the safety and security of not only the general public but for our brothers and sisters and all first responders. This is true more than ever today! Once the catastrophic event allows us to finally have a few hours off, we then have to deal with our own personal tragedies. Don't ever question why I support the way I do. My heroes are those who risk their lives daily to protect what you cherish most.

As many across the country know, BK Klev and Prison Break Tattoos has always stood in unwavering support of the men and women who risk their lives daily. Since opening our doors in 2013, first responders have been our top priority. Over the years, we’ve held numerous fundraisers for first responders and their families in times of need, often following catastrophic events. After Hurricane Harvey devastated Houston and the surrounding areas, 232 first responders and their families received direct support—food, shelter, and basic necessities—thanks to BK Klev and Prison Break Tattoos. No red tape, no paperwork—just immediate help for those in need. These heroes work tirelessly to protect and save others, often while their own families and homes are at risk.

Today, BK Klev and Prison Break Tattoos will once again raise funds for the immediate relief of first responders and their families impacted by Hurricane Helene. This has been one of the largest storms to ever impact the United States. Anything you can give will help. Thank you for your continued support, and may God bless these heroes.

**Verification and distribution process**
Prison Break Tattoos has established a rigorous verification and distribution process to ensure that financial assistance is allocated to individuals with a demonstrated and legitimate need. Applicants must submit a formal request via email, detailing their specific needs, the department in which they are employed, and providing the name of their direct supervisor. A valid government-issued active-duty identification must accompany the request for verification purposes. Additionally, a video conference will be required to further authenticate the application. Upon successful completion of the verification process, funds will be disbursed directly to the qualified first responder or their family.

Once funds are secured, a social media campaign will be launched, as has been our practice in the past, inviting first responders to submit the necessary documentation via email.
