My family trapped in crisis “help needed”

To whom it may concerns, I am reaching out on behalf of my family. My name is Donato Deng Ajiing Pakak, and I am a 6'10 basketball player from South Sudan. I am writing to share my family's story and ask for your help. In 2012, due to the civil war in South Sudan, my family sent me to live with my cousin in Kenya to pursue my education. While in Kenya, I discovered my passion for basketball and received scholarships to study in the United States. I graduated from high school in Florida in 2018 and transferred to a prep school in Sarasota, Florida, before committing to Lincoln College in 2019. However, the college was shut down in 2022, and I have since transferred to Greenville University, where I am studying business management with a minor in computer information systems CIS. My ultimate goal is to study cybersecurity at Norwich University and pursue a career in professional basketball. Unfortunately, my family has been displaced from our village due to a crisis and flooding in South Sudan. In 2019, they fled to Sudan and sought asylum, but the fighting has since erupted in Khartoum, trapping them inside. My mother, my little sister, my elder brother's wife, and her kids, seven children and two adults in total, have been living without water, food, or sleep, with bullets flying around and building windows breaking. They have no plan or resources to go anywhere safe. As a student with an I-20, I am unable to work outside the institution, and I am unable to provide the necessary support for my family. I am asking for your help in any way possible, whether through donations or sponsorship, to relocate them to a safer place, such as Egypt. Any assistance would make a significant difference in their lives. I am also asking for your prayers, as many innocent civilians have lost their lives in the recent fighting in Sudan.
