Help the Beardsley Family Rebuild Their Lives

Donation protected
On Tuesday 5 April, Janet and her family’s lives were changed in a second. Janet was at work when she received a phone call from her husband to inform her that their family home was on fire, with their 13-year-old dog Patch inside.
The fire was caused by a faulty electrical appliance in the kitchen which the forensic investigator believes was down to the toaster failing to switch itself off.
The most devastating consequence of the fire was that Patch – who had been part of the family since she was a puppy – unfortunately did not make it. This has been such a loss for the family, who also recently lost their other dog, Sammy, two weeks before the fire due to ill health.
Janet and her husband have lost many of their household possessions due to the downstairs of the house being open plan, including sofas, a coffee table, welsh dresser and everything in the kitchen, along with coats and jumpers, books, CDs, a television and CD player.
We would like to ask as many people as possible to show support to Janet and her family by making a donation of any size to help them rebuild their lives after experiencing such a horrific tragedy.
