Hi, My name is Sonia Vega, and I am here to help my friend Andrea Ayala Carrasquillo reach her dream of becoming a

Doctor in veterinary medicine. Andrea, originally from Cidra, Puerto Rico, is working on her bachelor's in animal

science at the University of California, Davis, and dreams of attending veterinary school. Andrea's parents are retired PR

government employees struggling to finance Andrea's studies. Financial assistance from the university is

limited, and they have exhausted the student loan option.

Since childhood, Andrea showed her passion for animals and grew up surrounded by domestic animals in the countryside of Cidra, PR.
