Rest In Peace Veronica Vargas

No one expects tragedy to hit them and most of us are not prepared for it. Yesterday morning my cousin Erick received a phone call that no husband/father wishes to ever receive. Around 8 am yesterday, May 26th, a drunk driver ran a red light and struck the vehicle that my cousins wife and 4 year old daughter were in, with full force. His wife, Veronica, was pronounced dead at the scene and Sammy, his daughter is in current critical condition at the hospital. Veronica leaves behind her husband Erick and her 5 young children. Our entire family is mourning the loss of such a beautiful, kindhearted and sweet soul and we are praying for Sammy and doing everything we can. Nadie espera que la tragedia nos llegue y la mayoría de nosotros no estamos preparados para ello. Ayer por la mañana, mi primo Erick recibió una llamada telefónica que ningún marido/padre desea recibir. Alrededor de las 8 de la mañana, 26 de mayo, un conductor ebrio pasó un semáforo en rojo y golpeó el vehículo en el que estaban la esposa e hija de mi primo, con toda fuerza. Su esposa, Verónica, fue declarada muerta en el lugar de los hechos y Sammy, su hija, se encuentra en estado crítico actual en el hospital. Verónica deja atrás a su marido Erick y a sus 5 hijos pequeños. Toda nuestra familia está de luto por la pérdida de un alma tan hermosa, amable y dulce y estamos rezando por Sammy y haciendo todo lo posible.
