Black Bay Farm Barn Roof Repairs
The full wrath of Hurricane Michael swept through Black Bay Farm in the Florida Panhandle northeast of Panama City. While there was massive destruction, fortunately no horse or human lives were lost. Friends and volunteers in the area have been working to clear the roads and driveway to bring in water and supplies for Pete, Sara and their horses. The house was spared but all barns (uninsured) have significant roof damage.
I am asking my fellow horsemen and women to chip in whatever you can, even a small amount, to help my friends during their time of need. It will add up! They are good people who have welcomed me and my horse with open arms whenever I am traveling through that area. They are both retired and living on modest incomes on this farm that they worked for many years to build. Let's do what we can to help them recover.
