Black Donnellys' This is My Home

World renowned Irish music duo The Black Donnellys are currently attempting to set a world record by performing over 60 gigs - in all 50 states in the U.S. - in just 40 days! They are traveling over 14,000 miles (only 10,000 less than the circumference of the Earth!) and making same day flights to and from Alaska and Hawaii. The purpose of The Black Donnellys' This is My Home Tour is to bring attention to the importance of immigrants in the United States, both historically and presently. “Growing up in Ireland, we always looked to America as a place where people came to better their lives and fulfill their dreams,” says David Rooney. “As we travel across the States, we’ll be meeting lots of great people who settled here, or had ancestors settle here, from all around the world. We’ll be capturing their stories on film as part of our record-setting tour.” This entire crazy journey is being filmed by Emmy Award-winning documentary filmmakers. 


Thanks to the generosity of sponsors and host venues, the Black Donnellys have already covered the biggest expenses like the tour bus rental, airfare, and equipment. Now they need your help! We're calling on all fans of the Donnellys, from around the globe, to please support the lads while on tour. Your support will pay for fuel, meals, lodgings and help cover some of the documentary filming expense. We invite you to be a part of their world record breaking attempt! Help them spread the word about immigration and help support the production of their film. Tour proceeds and royalties from the film will benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital - an amazing facility that provides life saving treatments to kids regardless of their nationality.

Please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery of the CD and t-shirt and up to six months for the documentary DVD as the filmmakers need to finish shooting and editing it.
