BLACK DYNASTY DREAMS OF A STAND ALONE RESTAURANT

Hey everyone! We're Black Dynasty Ramen, a Japanese American soul food restaurant in Nashville TN.

Here's a little bit about us,

We are currently inside of Bearded Iris Brewery in west Nashville at Sylvan Supply.

EVERYTHING is made in-house, noodles, broth, tare, toppings, & oils. We love the south cause we live in the south, so you'll see us using that southern magic in our bowls, Japanese inspired small plates and desserts. 

We take the food & hospitality a lot more seriously than we take ourselves.

We believe in こだわり kodawari, the Japanese word for commitment, and the obsessive pursuit of our craft. We believe that fast food can be great food. Slurp it hot, slurp it fast.

We want to say thank you to everyone who has supported us from the time we were just doing dinners out of a house in east Nashville to the pop-ups throughout town, and our downtown alley ramen that fed Nashville during the lockdown. We love you and are forever grateful for all the bowls that you've slurped these past few years. It's been a lot of fun and even more hard work, and we wouldn't be here without your love and support.

With that being said we are reaching out to you to make big dreams happen for a small ramen shop.

With outrageous and unreasonable interest rates for small business loans and having difficulty finding potential investors, We recently polled our local community about crowdfunding our dreams and the support/ enthusiasm was overwhelming. With your help, we can make a restaurant truly unique to Nashville and keep making great food and providing great hospitality to our city.

Our true goal is a big number, around 600k to have a stand-alone fast-casual restaurant with around 60-80 seats, roughly 3,000 square feet with a production/ prep kitchen and service line with noodle production and a full bar. Both the drink and food menu will be ever-changing/ seasonal with several permanent favorites of yours and ours.

Our initial ask is 100,000 to be used as seed money to attract investors and as a down payment on a few loans that will give us the funds to cover the construction costs/permits/ licenses, kitchen equipment, furniture, plate and glassware and kitchen smallwares, etc… and to open as bare bones as we can while still making the space a raw, real and great experience for our guests, and invest back into the restaurant as we grow. There's more than one way to cook an egg, and we're still figuring it out as we go. All we know is this money will help us get one step closer to a full service stand-alone restaurant.
