Black Father Restoring Neighborhood Barbershop
Donation protected
My father has worked as a truck driver to provide for his family. That is what fathers do, they work, they provide, and now that part of his job is done. I am the youngest of my father's six children, now that I have grown to be successful in my career in education, father can finally rest. He has done everything he is supposed to do for others, now he is taking on a goal for himself.
In the very neighborhood, my father has grown up in, he has worked hard to purchase the old local barbershop that has been shut down for years. Now, he works even harder to restore this barbershop and get it back up and running. All the woodworking, rebuilding, demolition, plumbing, and electrical are done by him and his wife.
This is a project of his very own, to start a business of his own and restart a black-owned business in the same neighborhood he grew up in.
This shop meant a lot to the neighborhood in the past, and he wants to bring that sense of community back, even if it's just for one small shop.
Please take part in helping my father in fixing up and starting up his very own shop.
Czar, that is the name of the shop. Czar, meaning, King. Which is what he wants every kid to feel like when they leave this shop. So please help in the crowning of kings.
