Black Femme Housing Emergency

Hello my name is Olivia.  I’m a self employed artist living in Los Angeles, CA. I have an extremely hard time asking for help, but I humbly am here seeking financial assistance. I have been in an extremely toxic and emotionally distressing living situation with my white roommate. This situation has left me physically and emotionally unhealthy. My roommate has repeatedly compromised my physical and emotional well-being to try to get me to break my lease. When I refused to leave she became contentious in her attempt to have me leave my home.  Being a Black woman, it has been hard to take actions against this person without being seen as a threat or a danger to her well being. Having to deal with this person throughout quarantine has drained me completely of my mental capacity to care for myself and left me in a financially compromised position. My roommate has now decided to move without notice leaving me unable to afford my rent. 

I’m asking for 12,000  to cover the cost of her portion of the rent for the remainder of my lease. Anything at all would help! I thank you, I love and appreciate you and your kindness! It will go such a distance.
