Black Girl Center of Advancement Hub

Hi, I'm Leah
I wanted to share a little bit about Black Girls Do Celebrating Black Women in Action: Since 2014 Black Girls Do mission is to honor and empower black women through action, celebration and solidarity. By curating activities that foster sisterhood amongst our members, the Black Girls Do social group encourages its community to find strength in each other's achievements while also engaging together in positive motivations for growth.
Starting a 501c3 can be a challenging and expensive process, as it involves obtaining a federal tax exemption, obtaining liability insurance, establishing bylaws, and more. In order to offset these start-up costs, public support through donations is essential.
Donations from the public help to provide the necessary resources and funding needed to cover these costs, allowing my organization to focus on our mission and serve the community more effectively. Public support also demonstrates a commitment from the community to the mission of the organization, which can help to attract further support from other sources.
My Mission is to empower Black women! Through our initiative called "The Black Girl Mecca of Advancement Hub" under Black Girls Do Celebrating Black Women in Action, we're now working towards becoming a 501c3 with six core areas for development. From events curated exclusively by and for black women to tech & entrepreneurial programming in k-12 education, workshops on feminine health awareness, and mental health advocacy through license therapies and more - this all leads up to our big dream: the 'Black Girl Center of Advancement Hub, a brick-n-mortar where co-working happens and connections are made. To make it possible though, generous donations from committed people like you are necessary!
*Please note our “Wall of Doers” will has no set time of release, its contingent upon the acquiring of a space
