Black Golf History at Jackson Pk & Pipe O'Peace

I am the Founder of Teach Our Children, Inc. and I want to tell the story of two famous golf courses in Chicago through the stories of the golfers that played and supported the courses for decades. One course began it's journey in the 19th Century and ostracized phenomenal Black golfers at the turn of the 20th Century. The other had a name change to honor the great man whom sponsored Black golfers so they could play golf professionally in a sport that legally banned them until 1961.

Their stories have not been told and it's time to teach the facts and history of these Chicago gems: Jackson Park Golf Course and Joe Louis "The Champ" Golf Course (formerly, Pipe O'Peace).
