Black Haircare Donation Drive

We are raising funds for the entire month of February to purchase Black haircare products for shelters and food banks in the Cedar Rapids/Iowa City corridor! Black haircare products are essential for many of the individuals and families served by these agencies, but it is often a donation that is overlooked. Please help us reach our goal of $500! All donations will be used to purchase products from Black-owned beauty supply stores in Iowa City and Cedar Rapids.

Donations will be disbursed to the following agencies:

-Willis Dady Emergency Shelter (CR)

-Waypoint (CR)

-Shelter House (IC)

-Domestic Violence Intervention Program (IC)

-CommUnity Crisis Center (IC)

-Linn County Food Bank (CR)

-Catherine McCauley Center (CR)
