Black Hands Universal Community Initiative

Our organization is arranged into what we call at Black Hands the 5 Pillars of community. Our programs are framed and centered around one or more of the following pillars. We offer programs in education, economics, health and wellness, general community work, and arts and culture. We believe that these are the five elements in which we must be balanced in order to strive and move forward as a community. We work closely with other community organizations to assure the best possible opportunity for our community in the cities lowest income demographic. We are a boots to the ground organization and can use all the help and support we can get. We run programs for career and jobs, banking and financial literacy, daycare initiatives, food resources, education, as well as community sustainable gardens, and teen workforce. We hope to use funds for general operations to help continue to run the before mentioned programs. Bills, and other over head costs as well as having the opportunity to grow and help many others.
