Chicago's Black Harvest Build Back Better‼️

The grocery store, North Lawndale Meat & Fresh Produce Market is set to open early Spring 2022. This will be the first Black owned and operated market offering a full line of fresh groceries and meat in the North Lawndale area. This 6000 square foot grocery store will offer people in the community and surrounding communities’ better quality food at a reasonable price. In order to do so, I plan to source at least 85% of the food stocked at this grocery store from Black Farmers and Black-owned suppliers.

North Lawndale Meat & Fresh Produce Market will offer a community owned onsite Farmers Market in the back lot located directly behind the store. This grocery store will also offer multiple job opportunities for locals in the area and beyond.  The goal for this area is to transform the corner into the New North Lawndale Black Business Corridor. With that being said, I need your assistance to bring this idea to life. Although, my team and I have already laid the framework and cleared the lot, we need your donation to complete the job. Your donation will go directly towards the buildout and production of this grocery store for our community and our future.
