Black Kids Do Yoga Tour to Increase Representation

Hi, I'm Author SonJoria Sydnor, author of Our Family's Doing Yoga and I am raising money for our Black kids yoga tour to increase representation for Black kids in yoga and wellness. Black kids often see their parents push through adversity rarely taking a moment to take care of themselves and this cycle has continued through history. It's time to teach Black kids healthy ways to cope with stress and offer opportunities to rest. That's what The Black Kids Do Yoga Tour is all about. Each year we travel to 4 cities to offer this wellness experience but it isn't cheap to do so. Flights, materials, food, instructors and venues are just a few things that are necessary to make each event a success and funding is crucial. In 2023 we visited 4 cities, partnered with 6 wellness instructors and studios, led events for over 75 children and sent each home with special swag bags. We'd like to reach more kids this year. If we meet our goal, tickets will be sold at a price that is affordable to reserve intent to attend.
