BLM BackPackEd Give-A-Way Campaign
Donation protected
We need your support, to help us fill another 400 BLM Backpacks for 2021 school year.
Last year - Our goal in the 2020 school year, was to sell lots of BLM apparel to raise money to purchase and hand out 100 backpacks to black, brown and ally youth in need. AND, through all our supporters, Scotia Bank fundraiser, customers from Alderney Landing and Waterfront markets, our www.teensnowtalkapparel.com online store and our UbU4U Sunnyside Mall store ... 100 backpacks quickly turned into 400 backpacks distributed throughout four-major community resource centres and schools. Read on...
Now our 2021 Backpack goal starts at 400 backpacks and we reached 401 lol, NOW, the filling of the backpacks began lol Here is where we seek your support.
Welcome to our Black Lives Matter BackPackEd© 2021 Campaign where 100% of your donations, plus proceeds from the Black Lives Matter apparel will provide free backpacks to HRM and surrounding areas!
BackPackEd© is an annual initiative created by the team and teens of the social enterprise Teens Now Talk and =ITY, Inspiring Today’s Youth Society. One of our many annual communITY initiative is, to provide our underprivileged and most vulnerable black youth living in poverty with free backpacks, filled with the necessary tools and supplies to ensure they can focus on their education and success.
Your donation will help us continue stuffing these backpacks.
How can you help?
We greatly respect and appreciate any donation you can give and 100% of your BackPackEd© donation, will go directly into the backpack as well as the supplies required to stuff these bags.
A backpack might not seem like a big deal to some, but to a struggling student with limited resources, it could mean the difference between acing a class or dropping out. Your help will help us make their first day a lasting impression.
We greatly appreciate any donation you can give and we love showing our communities who have their black youth backs.
Thank you in advance for your support.
UPDATES and photos of the smiles you help make will be posted.
Thank you in advance for your support
