FUNDRAISER ~ Black Lives Matter  ~ UK ONLY

Hello everyone! Thank you for supporting our fundraiser.

Myself and a lovely community of artists and makers are coming together to raise some much-needed funds for important causes doing the work as part of the fight against racism and white supremacy.

Since the devastating and senseless events leading to George Floyd's death, it feels like the world has finally had a wake up call. It's understood that no longer can we be silent. We must speak up, call out, and take action.

It’s time to educate, have those difficult conversations and donate to organisations supporting black communities.

We have selected 7 different organisations to support, all detailed below. We hope to raise funds to support these organisations continuously throughout the year.

We suggest a minimum donation of £10. However this is just a guideline, donate what you can afford, there is no judgement here. There is no limit to how many tickets you can buy.

If you cannot donate, please share or tag a friend ✨ thank you!

The fundraiser will run until Friday 3rd July. Each week we will announce new prizes to be won from our fantastic artists, makers and creatives. Look out for a 'Thankyou' email from GoFundMe on 3rd July, I will send all winners a message there asking you to contact me directly. GoFundMe cannot share your email address with me otherwise!

All winners will be emailed and their prize posted out to them. Some prizes are custom gifts like paintings/clothing/embroidery and even tattoos. Check out our socials for more information on what you can win.

Please remember why you’re donating. Don’t donate because you’d like to win one of the prizes - donate because you are committed to the fight against racism and white supremacy; donate because you wish to support the BAME community and those working to bring black history into our education. Please research the organisations listed below (all linked in my bio) Please diversify your feed, listen, educate yourself. You should feel uncomfortable because it IS uncomfortable. We have to take some of the weight off our black and brown brothers and sisters and DO the work. Racism is a white problem that causes the oppression of Black and Brown people and it is on us to show up and do the work to eradicate racism and white supremacy once and for all.

We are sharing all funds raised between the 7 organisations listed below. Follow the links to find out more about these charities. And consider supporting their work throughout the year if you are able to do so.
