Donation protected
The network of Minority Programmers needs help funding the Black Lives Matter “Hackathon” to encourage teams across the world to develop applications that will tackle problems with systemic injustice and racial inequality.

The $10,000 prize will be broken up by winning teams
1st Place - $5000
2nd Place - $2500
3rd Place - $1500
People's Choice - $1000 (favorite project as voted by audience)
The gofundme will originally fund the people's choice prize and then begin to fund the 1st, then 2nd, then 3rd once we reach milestones.
This competition will be live on July 13 on https://blacklivesmatter.devpost.com/
Contestants get to keep the rights to their project and we are looking as this as an opportunity for Minority Programmers to get money for solving injustices in their communities. We hope the solutions coded in this competition inspire more minority to pursue a career in STEM and allow for generational wealth in marginalized populations to be built.
