Black Students Matter Scholarship

At Mos, we believe that education is a human right—but the reality is, not all students have equal access. Throughout our history, Black students have been excluded from higher education because of racist laws, an unequal public education system, biased standardized testing, and a lack of funding.
Our goal is to make higher education accessible to every student because we believe that education can be used as a force to transform society and provide equal access to opportunity. As Nelson Mandela said, "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world."
That is why we created the Black Students Matter Scholarship—to support the next generation of Black civic leaders and activists to use their voices and education to fight for a more just world.
We've already committed $10,000, and we'd love your help to double it, triple it, or more. The more money we raise, the more students we can help. We'll start giving out awards on June 25th and each selected student will receive $500.

About Mos
We help students easily access the $135B available each year in financial aid so they can pay for college—without taking on crushing amounts of debt.
A year in, we’ve helped students of all backgrounds qualify for over $200M in government funding by serving as their financial aid advisor
