Black Lives Matter Street Mural Ellensburg

Tax deductible
The Ellensburg City Council has recently approved the installation of a Black Lives Matter Street Mural to be placed on 5th Ave between City Hall and Safeway.  Funds will help to offset the projected $5,000 in expenses, a community celebration and outreach. Any excess funds for this project will be directed toward a project befitting of the original intent, to promote equity and diversity in the City of Ellensburg as approved by the stewarding committee.

The committee includes a volunteer group of Ellensburg Residents, including people of color, city council representatives, and other community members. They currently are Tea Bolden, Abby Chien, Stacey Engel, Trenton Gardner, Monica Miller, Sara Omrani, and Bruce Tabb.

Gallery One Visual Art Center is a nonprofit organization acting as the fiscal agent for this project and will not retain any funds except for the processing fees charged by Paypal. Gallery One’s mission is to provide access to the visual arts.
