Black Lives Matter Week of Action in Schools
Donation protected
Black Lives Matter At School started in the 2016-2017 school year as a day of action in Seattle and then became a week of action in the Philadelphia schools. In 2018, we organized the National Black Lives Matter Week of Action in Schools , and thousands of teachers participated in over 20 cities by teaching the 13 guiding principles of Black Lives Matter. The 2019 Week of Action is scheduled for February 4-8th and you can learn more about the movement at: www.BlackLivesMatterAtSchool.com
We are now raising money to create a documentary to explain the history and goals of the movement for Black lives in education. Donate what you can and help us reach our goal.
With your help the #BlackLivesMatterAtSchool movement can achieve its national demands:
1. Ending zero tolerance in our schools; replace with restorative justice
2. Hire and retain more Black teachers
3. Black studies & ethnic studies now
4. Fund counselors, Not cops
