Black Muslim Women exhibition!

Hi - salaams - peace,

As you may know, I'm currently a full-time photographer


AND
I've had a proposal accepted by Everyday Muslim to exhibit photos at their upcoming symposium: An Exploration of Black Muslims in British History and Heritage

WHICH

is massively exciting (and terrifying!) - though I've been taking photos for some years, it will be my first exhibition.  It will be an exhibition of  portraits of Black Muslim women and girls in Britain (see below for a taste of past portraits I've taken - not exhibition ones, though: those are still under wraps for now!).

NOW

Turns out exhibiting photos is a bit costly - and earning money from photography means...not necessarily being super solvent.  I left my 'day' job last year, and am slowly easing into freelance life

SO

'I need moooo-ney'

I'm appealing to you, kind reader, to help me out with the costs of printing, framing and hanging the photos.

I plan to show 13 A3 portraits at the symposium on March 18th (yep, just 5 weeks away!!).  Costs for that will come to just over £1,000 (including gofundme's 7.9% fee). 

I'll need to raise the money ideally within the next 2 weeks (by end of Feb latest) to give me time to get everything done.

Can you help at all?  Anything you can donate will make a difference - raising the total amount will mean I am definitely able to have a physical exhibition, and will also make me ridiculously grateful!

Even if you cannot donate any cash, just sharing this page would be a huge help.
