Hey everyone,
My name is Texas Isaiah, and I am setting up this fundraiser to support a Black Trans woman in NYC who wishes to remain anonymous due to surveillance and legal complications with her landlord. She is being threatened with eviction and houselessness in the dead of winter. Due to the high costs of living in NYC, she is searching for affordable housing and needs to fundraise up to $4,000 to secure a move towards the first couple of months, and basic needs such as food, clothing, etc.
She is such a beloved member of our community, and she could greatly benefit from our help. Stable housing and access to care will allow her to continue the work she has continuously blessed us with. A donation or a share on your social media networks would be much appreciated.
