OCCUR: Black Business Relief Fund

Due to our current social, political, and health conditions the need to support, rebuild and stabilize African American businesses has been intensified. OCCUR remains committed to creating capacity building opportunities to support the well-being, economic development and civic inclusion of marginalized communities. For over 60 years, OCCUR continues to provide technical assistance, training, and advocacy to our local businesses. Since the beginning of the Covid-19 virus and the shelter in place order, OCCUR has been providing funds to provide micro-grants to small businesses and organizations in Oakland, largely African American. The need is critical and we need your support to provide critical services and funding. We are asking that all of our allies give what they can to ensure that Black businesses can reopen and/ or remain open and in Oakland. #OCCURNow
