Black Hawk Bluff - Save the Lights

Black Hawk Bluff is one of the biggest residential Christmas lights displays in Jacksonville.

Over the weekend homeowners in the Blackhawk Bluff Civic Community in the San Pablo area received news that their displays are causing traffic in the area - so the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is now recommending they hire security.

Residents got a letter in the mail from homeowner’s association that they are required to have patrolman out there on the weekends to direct traffic, the homeowner’s association is now asking each household to voluntarily pay between $10 and $40 to offset security costs.

JSO recommended the subdivision hire two off-duty officers to patrol the area this coming Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Christmas Eve.

Help save the lights and keep the Christmas Spirit this neighborhood brings to our area every year!!All donations will be provided to the HOA to help pay for the cost to have officers assist in traffic control.

Please know we are both working together to raise enough money to support the residents of Black Hawk so they won't have to do any more than they already have by making this time of year so special to everyone who visits this amazing Christmas Lights display!
