Blacko Royal Oak

To commemorate the Platinum Jubilee of our Queen, Blacko village is planning to have an Oak tree planted. This will be sited on Blacko’s recreation ground.

 

The cost of the Oak Tree, the Decorative Metal Tree Guard & a Commemorative Plaque is going to be £1500.

 

This gofundme page has been set up for people to donate to raising the funds for this project, so please if businesses & individuals would be generous enough to contribute towards this special project it would be greatly appreciated!

 

The tree is to be planted with the help of a child from the village or Blacko Primary School. Leaving the legacy of the Oak Tree for many future generations to enjoy.

 

To put your child’s name forward please contact Simon Askew at 26 Beverley Road, Blacko referencing ‘Blacko Royal Oak’. The child’s name will be drawn at random on Wednesday 25th May. The tree will be planted on Thursday 2nd June, time to be announced.
