Blackpool, Fylde & Wyre Samaritans Need Your Help
Suicide is the biggest killer of young people, in 2019 there were 5691 suicides in England and Wales that is 321 more compared to the year before. "40% of men said that talking to others helped with concerns and worries they had particularly during lockdown." Our campaign #RealPeopleRealStories highlights the importance of seeking help and getting support when you need it.
Do you know every seven seconds, we respond to a call for help. To continue to with all our much needed work, we relay on donations to maintain the running of our branch, it costs £192 a day to keep our branch open, these are funds we must raise ourselves to ensure we can provide the listening service that is so desperately needed, particularly at this time.
We thank you so much for any support you can offer, no matter how small or large.
Thank you from the bottom of our Big Green Heart.
