Blackrock Community Centre Car Park Insurance Fund

URGENT APPEAL to our local community….we need to raise €11k by Tuesday or Blackrock Community Centre and Car Park will have to close to the public…

“The insurance premium in respect of the centre has increased by €8,000.00 This is largely due to an ongoing public liability claim, brought against the centre, following an alleged incident in 2019. This has had a huge impact on our finances and has made the operational expenses of the centre unsustainable. The centre is at the heart of our community and we don’t want to have to close it’s doors as doing so would be an incredible loss to the village and the mental wellbeing of all the children and adults that have derived such enjoyment from it over the years”.

PLEASE help us raise €11,000 by Tuesday at 6pm , please give as much as can , every EURO helps . If you have ever used the car park, or accessed the Park, Rock Celtic , Rathmount or attended classes inside or out of the community Centre , then please help us . We cannot let this amazing amenity close .
