Helene Recovery for WNC Blacksmith: Night Owl Iron Works

Donation protected

Hi, my name is Rachel, and my husband Jordan and I own and operate Night Owl Iron Works, a small blacksmith shop in WNC. We were greatly impacted by Hurricane Helene, resulting in significant damage to equipment and weeks of lost revenue. While this is difficult for us to ask, we’re reaching out for help to recover and continue serving our community.

Our emergency fund has allowed us to reopen, but it wasn’t enough to cover all our expenses. We’re waiting on potential grant approvals, but even if awarded, those funds could take weeks to arrive. Every donation will go directly toward essential overhead costs and repairing or replacing damaged equipment, which are critical to keeping our business running.

We’re still holding classes as we work through this challenging time, and you can find class information here: Night Owl Iron Works Classes. For more about our business, visit our Facebook page: Night Owl Iron Works on Facebook .
Thank you for any support you can offer, and for keeping everyone affected in your prayers. Every little bit helps as we work to get back on track and contribute to the larger recovery efforts in our region.
