Hello, my name is Stephen Modawell and I am the founder of Blacktop Charities.

I previously had a YouTube channel where I did cooking and baking videos. I put it on pause in order to do some remodeling on our home. During that time I realized I enjoyed the channel, but it wasn't my passion. What drives me, what makes the blood pump through my body is serving other people!

Over the last several months I developed a channel called Blacktop Charities, where I had plans of traveling the "blacktops" across the country and highlight various charities!

However, on April the 28th, a tornado nearly destroyed Sulphur, Oklahoma! My wife and I had been in Sulphur just the month before and the shop we had stood in was completely gone! Our hearts were crushed for that shop owner and the others in Sulphur, I knew I had to refocus!

So now the focus of Blacktop Charities is to serve those in small towns with populations less than ten thousand people!

Not all government programs or insurance covers the little things that matter! Teachers, schools, churches, first-responders, and charities lose supplies that we can help replace!

We have chosen our first small town with a population of around 5000! This town will be our testing ground to develop a plan and put the necessary step in place to help future towns!

We are asking individuals to give a gift of $10 to help get us started! We have emailed some groups asking them to give a gift of $100. Our goal of $10,000 is a starting point, of course we would love to exceed that goal!
